As with most of the Discworld diaries, the City Watch one does not disappoint. There's a lot of great stuff in it that you won't find elsewhere, and even some amusing bits throughout the calendar section, including a series of requests by Nobby for days of for various grandmother's funerals.
As with all of the diaries, I do wish the part that wasn't the calendar was larger, and this is the reason why it's 4 stars and not 5 stars. What original content there is, as usual, is excellent. There's just not much of it because of the diary format.
Unfortunately, the copy that I ordered arrived having been severely damaged by the postal service (Moist von Lipwig would have been appalled), so while is was acceptable for a quick read, it was completely ruined as a collectible. However, the vendor was very good about refunding the purchase. The vendor was Cotswold Internet Books UK, and I would definitely recommend them for your Discworld needs that can't be satisfied here in the USA, like finding a Discworld diary at a reasonable price (why is it that when the book crosses the Atlantic the price doubles?).
